Breakfast with Gerry Cooney

This morning we took a ride over to Eagles Oaks Country Club from our store in Wall Township to have breakfast with boxing legend Gerry Cooney.  He was our guest of honor at our Golf Outing last July, and will be back this June to play a round with our designers.  This year he’ll be bringing along a few of his athlete friends!  Gerry is a fantastic guy and for the past 10 years he’s been visiting YCS Residence for Boys in Paterson about two times a week to box with the young men.  We will be raising money for the great organization again this year with the support of our vendors like Sub Zero & Wolf, Viking, Jenn-Air, GE Monogram, Dacor, Eastern Marketing and Almo.  Our planning meeting went great and we are going to have a fantastic event for everyone!

Our customers are as sweet as pie!

Mrs. Jacobs sent the following note to our salesman John Cuccolo this week.  She even included a slideshow of her lovely kitchen, featuring appliances from Top Line.  You’ll love her just from reading this kind message!

Hi John,

I have wanted to thank you for quite awhile now.  You helped me last spring in picking the appliances for my kitchen.  I am quite pleased with everything you suggested I purchase and you should know that.

I adore my fridge.  Nobody ever talks like that, but it’s true.  It’s a KitchenAid and it’s perfect.  It keeps the contents just the proper temperature, and produce keeps surprisingly great lengths of time.

My Viking is remarkable.  I am a baker, as you might recall.  It’s fantastic.  And the stove top is quite helpful with the range of heat.  I can boil water as I couldn’t even imagine before.  And the slower temperatures are also wonderful.  During the “big snowstorm”, picture me toasting marshmallows on a turkey skewer over my Viking.  Quite the happy camper.

My Viking microwave is superb.

I am actually even enjoying my dishwasher, much to my great surprise.  My sister-in-law was visiting.  She has never seen a dishwasher dry as well as mine.  You had recommended a Miele to me specifically for the drying.  And you were very successful in matching the right dishwasher to my needs.

Attached is a slideshow I thought you might enjoy of my finished kitchen.

Thank you again.  You did a great job for me and I gladly give your name to my friends.

New Product from Dacor: Renaissance 30″ Induction Range

New from Dacor:

Dacor | The Life of the Kitchen
Renaissance 30'' InductionRange
Imagine a range without boundaries or barriers, an environment free from conventional thought and restrictions, a range created to reflect the needs and lifestyle of today’s modern homeowner. The Renaissance 30” Induction Range brings design and high technology together in a seamless ballet of form and function.

Combine a state-of-the-art Induction cooking surface, the fastest, safest and most efficient form of cooking, with the epicurean experience of a Four-Part Pure Convection™ Oven, add a glass touch-control panel with your choice of handles and you have a stainless steel range that will reflect your style and taste.

The Renaissance 30” Induction Range is the perfect blend of sophisticated styling, advanced engineering and quality craftsmanship. The range uses electromagnetic energy to stimulate iron molecules to heat the cooking vessel itself. Unlike traditional cooking surfaces that heat up and stay hot long after the meal has been prepared, the glass-ceramic surface of the Induction element stays cool to the touch as it is unaffected by the magnetic field. Each Induction element, hidden below the ceramic-glass surface, heats pots and pans quickly and consistently with precise control.

The range comes standard with Dacor’s exclusive Four-Part Pure Convection™ System. The convection element, baffle, fan, and filter allow home chefs to cook with hot-air for even and consistent cooking without hotspots while allowing you to cook multiple dishes without flavor transfer.

Personalize your Renaissance Induction Range by selecting one of two handle options, the professional Epicure® stainless steel handle with chrome trim, or the proprietary Flush (as shown) stainless steel handle which gives the range a clean contemporary look.

New Line: ALFRESCO Grills!

Top Line Appliance Center is happy to announce we now carry the Alfresco brand of grills and accessories.

About Alfresco:

True gourmet cooking is a creative art. As any artist knows, the right tools, workspace and ambiance are essential fuel to get those juices flowing. Alfresco’s Open Air Culinary Systems are designed with that purpose in mind. Alfresco turns any backyard into a resort quality living space by providing the right environment to fulfill the needs of even the most demanding of chefs. Most impressive, Alfresco accomplishes this while also maintaining both a wide variety of features and a functional yet visually stunning design.

Alfresco was co-founded in late 1999 by Dale Sieden after leaving LynxGrills, a company he started in 1994. With years of grill experience, Sieden had a vision: to position his new company as an outdoor kitchen line at a time when the term “outdoor kitchen” didn’t even exist yet. The concept took off allowing the company to carve out a firm place in the outdoor cooking market. Alfresco was later acquired by Jeff Bernstein who’s family was the former owner of Jade Range Commercial Cooking Equipment and Dynasty Residential Appliances. Bringing in new views and even more experience to
Alfresco, a new goal wasformed: to become the iPod of luxury outdoor grills and kitchens.
To bring Alfresco grills the commonplace notoriety of the iPod, the company made available a vast array of optional features, all capable of being integrated into its clean, modern designs. Alfresco’s customizable living spaces include such conveniences as bar facilities, refrigerators, side burners, steam fryers, or the Sear Zone, a burner with the intense searing heat of a direct-fired ceramic infrared burner. There is even an optional keg kit. Alfresco truly provides outdoor cooking enthusiasts with an ideal outdoor kitchen with both style and functionality.

Alfresco’s most recent addition to its family of grills is the LX2. Available in 30-, 42-, and 56-inch sizes, the line of LX2 grills offer the most advanced features and pure cooking performance of any gas grill on the market today. Utilizing its combined years of industry experience with extensive consumer research, Alfresco is successful in producing perhaps the finest and most dependable gas grill ever made. Innovative features include flip-down control panels, protective air curtains, hidden integrated rotisseries, work lights, and the Neverstore™ Warming Rack. The Neverstore, born in response to market feedback, is a re-engineered warming rack with four adjustable height positions and a unique up storage position that even allows rotisserie use without having to remove the rack.

After a busy workweek, there’s nothing better than relaxing in the back yard – the sizzle ofthe grill, the smell of seasoning, and the promise of a good meal to come. Alfresco is committed to bringing its customers and their families and friends the very best outdoor kitchen experience possible through options, adaptability, and a look that will wow guests every time. As the company continues to rise above and beyond in the industry, drawing from experience and the valued feedback of their clients, Alfresco’s mission is to continue impressing everyone from the casual griller to the leaders of the culinary world.

White Appliances Gaining Popularity

While most of our customers choose stainless steel appliances, sleek and updated white appliances have gained popularity. These new models are not the white appliances you may have grown up with.

Whirlpool has recently debuted their White Ice series.  The Whirlpool White Ice Collection was “a trend of diversifying from stainless steel appliances as the only mark of luxury.” The goal with the Ice Collection was to achieve a simple but sophisticated European style.

Vikig offers a wide range of metal and color finishes. While the bright colors are tempting, the way a white range creates a clean and seamless look across the white cabinets makes a good argument for matching the range to your cabinets.

Working with a Kitchen Designer

At Top Line, we work with 150+ kitchen designers in the New Jersey area.  Our customers appreciate the fact that our kitchen package specialists smoothly coordinate the design process with their designer, providing appliance specifications, layout information, and specifics about timeline for delivery and installation of appliances.

Whether your kitchen needs a minor face lift or a complete gut job, soliciting help from a certified kitchen designer can be well worth the investment. Not only do kitchen designers have access to planning tools and technology that most homeowners don’t, but they have the inside scoop on trends, new materials, building codes and technical quirks.  And their kitchen remodel expertise can save you a lot of time, money and frustration.  (Especially with coordinating kitchen cabinets with appliances… like that panel ready Sub Zero refrigerator you have your eye on!  You want it to sit flush with surrounding cabinetry right?)
